# Downloading Candidate Information

> Learn how to export candidate data for offline analysis and reporting

## Downloading Candidate Information

This feature allows you to export candidate data for offline analysis, reporting, or sharing with team members who may not have direct access to the ATS.

## How to Download Candidate Information

    Choose the candidates you wish to include, or select all.

  <Step title="Initiate Download">
    Click the "Download Candidates" button at the top of the candidate list.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose Format">
    Select your preferred file format (CSV, Excel, or PDF).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm Download">
    Click "Download" and choose where to save the file on your computer.
  </Step>

## Available Export Formats

| Format | Best For                                              |
| ------ | ----------------------------------------------------- |
| CSV    | Easy import into spreadsheet software or databases    |
| Excel  | Direct use in Microsoft Excel with formatted data     |
| PDF    | Sharing with stakeholders or printing physical copies |

## Customizing Exports

To customize the information included in your export:

1. Click "Customize Fields" before initiating the download
2. Select or deselect fields to include in your export
3. Rearrange the order of fields if needed
4. Save your custom template for future use
